Duel rules

One lane, one opponent, three ways to end it. These rules apply to every duel on BYLT.

Last updated 4 November 2026

First blood

First champion kill.

First tower

First tower destroyed.

100 CS

First to 100 creep score.

All three conditions are live in every duel. The first player to achieve any one of them wins.

02Win conditions

Every duel uses all three win conditions at the same time. The first player to achieve any of them wins the duel, and the game ends there.

  1. First blood: you score the first champion kill of the game.
  2. First tower: the first tower of the game is destroyed on your opponent's side.
  3. 100 CS: you are the first to reach 100 creep score (last hits on minions), as shown in the game.

The game data is the reference for every condition.

03Surrender and disconnects

  • Surrender is a loss. Surrendering, or leaving the game on purpose, ends the duel in your opponent's favour.
  • No pause for disconnects. If you disconnect, the game keeps running. Your opponent can keep playing and complete any win condition. Reconnect as fast as you can.
  • Pausing the game is not allowed.

04No-shows

Once a duel starts, the host's BYLT app creates the custom game and invites the opponent, whose app accepts it. Both players have 10 minutes to be in the lobby.

  • If a player is not in the lobby after 10 minutes, the duel is cancelled.
  • Both entries are returned in full.
  • The no-show receives a strike. Strikes trigger a cooldown before you can start or accept a new duel, and the cooldown grows with each repeat.

05How the result is decided

Nobody reports anything by hand. Each player's BYLT app reads the game data on their own PC.

  1. Both apps agree on who reached the first objective: the duel settles at once and the prize goes to the winner.
  2. They don't agree, one app goes silent, or the game ends with no objective: the duel goes to a moderator. Both players can upload evidence (screenshots, clips, replays).

While a duel is under review, both entries stay locked. BYLT's decisions are final. Tampering with the app or its data is treated as cheating.

06Prohibited behaviour

  • Scripts, macros, bots, modified clients or any software that gives an unfair advantage.
  • Collusion or arranging the result with your opponent.
  • Losing on purpose.
  • Smurfing or playing on an account that isn't linked to your BYLT account.
  • Account sharing, or letting someone else play for you.
  • Exploiting bugs in the game or on BYLT.
  • Inviting other players into the lobby or interfering with the custom game.
  • Harassment, threats or hate speech, in game or on BYLT.

Sanctions range from a forfeited duel to a balance freeze and a permanent ban. See the Terms of Service.

07Edge cases

  • Two objectives at almost the same moment (within about 2 seconds, for example both players at 100 CS): the duel goes to a moderator.
  • A tower falls to minions: it counts for the player whose side did not lose the tower.
